I speak a bit better than I did before. You can check out BYKI, an interactive flashcard program (just google "Before You Know It"), it has a demo, so it can force you to be interactive, some people like Rosetta Stone since there is no translation drills at all - it's about as far from Pimsleur as you can get. I also had some success with Barron's Diplomatic Series, but it requires abnormal amounts of discipline. I prefer guided practice as to having to figure out how to memorize things myself. You could also check any of the kids video series - I don't have much experience with those though.
